URL checking is great to prevent spam but if it try to fetch link to some video or mp3 it will take forever. The site was working fine for 2 days, suddenly, the submit.php has just started getting hanged up as soon as any url is submitted either by Bookmarklet through get or through the submission form through post. I think the server is somehow barring access to fetch remote url resource. I'm new to smarty and advanced php programming, but I've lot of experience with wordpress hacking and development. Can you please guide me on what lines to comment up OR what to change so that pligg just stops fetching remote content to retrieve title and all. Please help! Thanks in advance. James.
